Privacy Policy

“Yachad Meshanim” (R.A.) (hereinafter: the “Association”) respects the privacy of users of its website (hereinafter: the “User” and collectively: the “Users”) which it manages and operates at https://elhadegel.co.il and additional pages belonging to it (hereinafter: the “Website”).

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter: the “Privacy Policy”) governs the manner in which the Association uses the information it collects on the Website. Browsing and/or using the Website in any way constitutes the User’s consent and approval of this Privacy Policy. If the User does not agree with all or part of the Privacy Policy, they are not authorized to use the Website.

The information detailed below is intended to assist the User in understanding the Association’s privacy protection policy on the Website. This Privacy Policy will clarify the information the Association collects about Users on the Website, the purposes for which the Association collects the information, the uses the Association may make of the information, the third parties to whom the Association may transfer information, and more.

The information the User provides to the Association depends on the User’s consent and willingness and does not derive from any legal obligation. The information will be stored in the Association’s database for the purposes detailed in this Privacy Policy. Use of the Website and/or the services offered by the Association through the Website constitutes the User’s consent to this Privacy Policy and to the storage and management of the information in such database. The use of the information will be made in accordance with this Privacy Policy or pursuant to applicable law, for the purposes specified below.

This Privacy Policy is written in the masculine form for convenience only and shall be deemed to refer also to the feminine.

In this Policy, the term “Information” means any information collected by the Association or provided to it by the User or anyone on their behalf, in the course of using the Website or the services included therein, by which the User can be identified, and which is protected under the Protection of Privacy Law, 1981 (the “Law”).

The Association may collect the following information about Users (in whole or in part): name, place of residence, gender, email address, date of birth, geographic and thematic interests, and any other additional information the User provides or shares on the Website (hereinafter: the “Information”). In certain cases, the Association may collect additional details related to its activities, as voluntarily provided by the User.

The Association collects information about the User for the following purposes (in whole or in part): decision-making processes; improvement and operation of the Website and its systems; producing statistical data and processed or aggregated information; statistical analysis of traffic and usage data on the Website. The Association takes customary precautions to preserve, as far as possible, the confidentiality of the information.

The Association will not transfer or disclose information to third parties except as specified in this Privacy Policy. Transfer of information to third parties will include only relevant information and will be carried out in a proportional manner for a defined, explicit, and legitimate purpose. The Association may transfer the information, in whole or in part, to third parties providing it with services, including data storage and other services. In addition, the User acknowledges and agrees that the Association may store information outside of Israel, including in countries where the level of data protection does not conform to Israeli law.

Without derogating from the above, the Association may transfer the User’s personal details in the following cases:

  • In the event of a legal dispute between the User and the Website owners that requires disclosure of such details.
  • If a judicial order is received requiring disclosure of the User’s details or information to a third party.
  • If the Website’s operations are transferred to another entity in any way, provided that such entity undertakes to protect the User’s privacy in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Use of Anonymous Information
We may use anonymous information (which does not enable identification of an individual User, such as aggregated statistical data about use of our Website) or disclose it to third parties in order to improve our operations and enhance the user experience.

The Association allows service providers to collect non-identifying information about Users of the Website through cookies and various technologies on the Website (hereinafter: the “Cookies”). Cookies are small text files that allow non-identifying information to be collected via Users’ computers or internet browsers, including (but not limited to) the following: non-identifying data about the Website and its use; browser type; IP address; server source; date and time of User requests; user behavior patterns; interests; time spent on pages; keywords; statistical data; user IDs; usage volumes and characteristics; feedback provided by Users, and more. The Association takes customary precautions to preserve, as far as possible, the confidentiality of the information provided to it. The Association undertakes not to use subscriber and donor details except for the purposes for which they were provided, and subject to this Privacy Policy-including operation of the Website, donor relations management, and newsletters and updates from the Association.

Additionally, the Association allows service providers to use reCAPTCHA services, which collect non-identifying information about Users, such as device data. Use of reCAPTCHA services is subject to Google’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, available here:

The Association may also use third-party analytics, statistical analysis, and research services, such as Google Analytics. The Association allows such service providers to access and use non-identifying information obtained through Google Analytics. Use of Google Analytics is subject to Google Analytics’ Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Users who do not wish cookies to be collected on their computer may disable cookies via their browser settings. Disabling cookies may cause some of the Website’s services to be unavailable or function poorly. Notwithstanding the above, cookies essential to the operation and management of the Website, as well as Google Analytics cookies, cannot be disabled.

The Association may use your contact details to complete information, update you with information we consider relevant, or for other purposes. We may also use your email address or other electronic contact methods to send you updates or news regarding our services or activities. If you do not wish to receive such communications, you may notify us by sending the word “unsubscribe” via the opt-out option in the mailing you receive.

Right of Access and Correction
The right to review and correct personal information is in accordance with applicable law. If the User wishes to review or correct their information, this can be done by contacting the Association at: info@elhadegel.com

The terms and conditions set forth in this Privacy Policy, as well as any amendments, changes, or corrections to them, and the use of the Website, shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising in connection with the Website and/or this Privacy Policy shall rest solely with the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa.

The Association may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated Privacy Policy published on the Website shall bind the User. Continued use of the Website by the User after the Privacy Policy has been updated shall constitute the User’s consent to the updated Privacy Policy, including its changes.
