Terms of Use
Welcome to the website of the “Yachad Meshanim” Association (RA) (hereinafter: the “Association”), at https://elhadegel.co.il (hereinafter: the “Website”). The Association is a Zionist, non-profit Israeli institution working to promote Zionist values and ideas, including the “Basic Law: El HaDegel Service,” with the goal of addressing Israel’s values and challenges.
These Terms of Use, together with the Privacy Policy (which is an integral part thereof, hereinafter collectively: the “Terms”), constitute a binding agreement between you and the Association. By using the Website and its contents, you agree to these Terms. The Association reserves the right to update or amend the Terms at its sole discretion. Continued use of the Website after such changes, which will be made available immediately on the Website, constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Website Content
The Website contains information from various sources (hereinafter: the “Content”) reflecting the worldview of the Association and the goals it seeks to advance. This may include publications, media, political petitions, and more. The Association reserves the right to edit or update the Content at its sole discretion, at any time.
Use of the Website
Use of the Website and access to its Content is intended solely for obtaining information about the interests and worldview represented by the Association. Use of the Website may not be made:
- In a manner that constitutes a criminal offense or civil wrong under any law.
- In a way that harms the Association or related bodies.
- In a way that infringes the rights of other users or third parties.
- For the purpose of harming the security of the Website, by any means.
- To copy, use, or allow others to use any Content published on the Website.
To interfere with or bypass the Website’s security mechanisms or disrupt its normal operation. - To display Website Content in a way that alters its design or omits details.
- To link the Website or Association to content that promotes racism, unlawful discrimination, illegal activity, or content whose publication is unlawful.
Donations to the Association
You may donate to the Association at your discretion, according to your willingness and ability, in order to support its activities and goals.
The Association’s donation policy and acceptance of donations are subject to the sole discretion of the Association and may be amended at any time by updating these Terms.
Donations through the Website are available to users aged 18 and above only. By donating, the donor confirms that they are at least 18 years old and legally authorized to perform the transaction.
Donations are processed via the “Beactive” platform (hereinafter: the “Platform”). Transfers of funds to the Association are carried out through the Platform in accordance with the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy on elhadegel.co.il.
Donations may be one-time or recurring (monthly or annual), in amounts of your choice, via credit card. Donations are not subject to VAT in Israel. However, the Association is not recognized as a tax-exempt entity under Section 46A of the Israeli Income Tax Ordinance. Credit card processing is carried out by the Association or its representatives, through an authorized provider, and may incur fees such as currency conversion charges.
Upon confirmation from the credit card company, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your donation. Donations may be canceled within 30 days by contacting info@elhadegel.com. Requests submitted after 30 days will not be processed.
Cancellation of Recurring Donations
To cancel a recurring donation, please send an email with the following details: first name, last name, email, phone number, and the last 4 digits of the credit card. Processing the request may take up to 7 business days.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. For more information, please see the Website’s “Privacy Policy.”
Third-Party Links
The Website contains links to third-party websites, including social media and media platforms. These sites are not managed or controlled by the Association, and the Association bears no responsibility for their reliability, legality, or content. Use of such sites is subject to their respective terms of use and privacy policies.
Promotional Information and Communications
By signing petitions, making donations, subscribing to the newsletter, or contacting the Association via email or the online form, you consent to receiving SMS and email communications from the Association, as permitted under Section 30A of the Israeli Telecommunications Law (1982).
The Association may periodically send you information and promotional material directly or through its service providers to the phone number and/or email address you provided.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by sending a refusal notice to info@elhadegel.com.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Website and its Content (including copyrights, distribution rights, trade secrets, and other IP) belong solely to the Association, or to third parties if their content is displayed on the Website. You may not copy, distribute, modify, publicly display, license, create derivative works, or transfer any part of the Website or its Content without prior written approval from the Association.
The Association’s name, domain, and proprietary marks (registered or unregistered) are its exclusive property and may not be used without prior written consent.
Commercial Use
No commercial use may be made of the Website or its Content.
Changes to the Website
The Association may, at its sole discretion, modify the structure, appearance, design, scope, or availability of the Website and its Content at any time. Such changes may result in errors or limited access. You shall have no claim against the Association regarding such changes.
The Association may also suspend or terminate the Website’s operation, in whole or in part, temporarily or permanently, at any time.
Liability
The Website and its services are provided “as is” and “as available.” The Association shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, including lost profits, business losses, reputation damage, or other financial loss resulting from use of the Website, reliance on its Content, technical failures, or circumstances beyond its control.
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for any use you make of the Website and its Content, and that the Association bears no liability, directly or indirectly, for such use.
Miscellaneous
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction – Use of the Website shall be governed solely by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction rests with the competent courts of the ____ District, Israel.
- Assignment – You may not assign your rights under these Terms without prior written consent from the Association. The Association may transfer its rights in the Website to a third party, provided that such party assumes its obligations.
